Project Details: Dixon Studios, LLC worked with the staff of The New York Aquarium and The Wildlife Conservation Society Design Team in Brooklyn, New York to produce all the tank exhibits for the New Conservation Hall. Dixon Studios, LLC scope included the fabrication and installation of eight different aquarium tank inserts. Ranging from Fiji Reef Limestone to Flooded Forests, Dixon Studio, LLC designed and constructed many high quality artificial foliage and vines that were incorporated into each specific tank. Exhibits include A Flooded Amazon River Basin Exhibit, The Great Lakes of Africa and The Live Coral Exhibits, Fiji Reef and Clown Fish Reef. The Live Coral Exhibits were constructed of nearly 20 tons of natural limestone which was hand picked and placed in the tanks by Dixon Studios, LLC.
