| NEVADA STATE MUSEUM Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Completion Date: June 2011 Exhibit Designer: Think Jacobson and Roth Primary Exhibit Fabricator: Pacific Studio Primary Scenic Contractor: Dixon Studios, Inc. Project Details: In 2011 Dixon Studios, Inc. was the scenic contractor for the Nevada State Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. To develop the historical themes of life from paleo times through the modern day, our crew fabricated a high detail natural cave with realistic replications of cave formations. Highly accurate archeological excavation site exhibits complement a life-sized mineral mine rock wall that shows detailed rock strata of an underground mine. The rotunda at the new Nevada State Museum is now home to a 15 foot tall Bristlecone Pine Tree realistically created by the artisans at Dixon Studios.
