| KACHEMAK BAY RESEARCH RESERVE Location: Homer, Alaska Completion Date: March 2010 Exhibit Designer: Dixon Studios, Inc. Scenic Fabricator: Dixon Studios, Inc. Project Details: Dixon Studios worked closely with the education staff at the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve in Homer, Alaska. The highlight of this project was the design, fabrication and installation of a 30 foot tidal gauge that simulated the real tide out in the bay. This project also included a hallway exhibit complete with hands on exhibitry including dioramas, graphics, sculptures and an octopus den educating viewers about the four different habitats there in the Estuary.
