Project Details: The city of Great Bend, Kansas along with the Kansas Department of Transportation contracted Dixon Studios to provide a comprehensive interpretive plan, exhibit design and installation. The project included the design and build of one permanent exhibit and four portable exhibits highlighting birds of prey. The Quivira Wildlife Refuge as well as Cheyenne Bottoms near Great Bend are home to one of the largest migratory pathways of birds in the world.
