| BISHOP MUSEUM SCULPTURES Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Completion Date: September 2010 Exhibit Designer: Dixon Studios, Inc. Primary Exhibit Fabricator: Dixon Studios, Inc. Project Details: The Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii has a recent addition of these over-sized sculptures located in the children’s garden. The sculptures are the tree snail, wekiu bug, wolf snail, monk seal and two nene geese. These are indigenious creatures on the Hawaiian islands. Dixon Studios constructed these in various mediums from textured stained cement to fiberglass epoxy resins. All sculptures are very durable and will withstand many hours of play time and exploration. << Back to Portfolio |
